Do you repair respirator parts?
- If any part of the respirator, or mask, breaks, you must replace it.
- There are no serviceable parts on the mask body. If any part of the mask body breaks or wears out, you must replace the mask body.
- Never try to glue a broken part to extend the life of the mask body.
- Accessory parts include mask bodies, filter covers, headgear, and shields. If you are looking for any piece inside these accessories, you must replace the entire part.

Necessary evil
The holo headgear is pretty much the only way you can wear this mask and get a good seal. Several physicians at my hospital use the envo/halo so I upgraded once the original ear hook straps on mine drove me nuts as they fell apart. I wear my envo for long shifts, several times a week, so I can vouch for the comfort level with the halo is very good. However, I am really disappointed in how it holds up to wear and tear. The fabric on both the original and the holo headgear is a semi-rigid elastic that is double sewn. It eventually starts fraying in multiple locations so you have to ratchet up the compression to keep the seal. I haven’t found any other replacement fabrics for this so I suppose every few months envo gets my $ as I replace this. It is worth it, though, and I wouldn’t go back to reg N95.

I LOVE my mask, it is so comfortable and seals nicely around my face. With the hooks around my ears, it would sometimes get loose as one hook might slip out from behind my ear. I am so happy for this as it looks like I will be returning to the classroom to teach face to face. I don’t care how big this is, I am just happy for something that will keep me safe, and to protect other people I am near. (Thank you for the valve cover!)

ELASTIC BAND
I prefer the ear loop model for on & off convenience but the material that is used for the bands begins to deteriorate along the edges fairly quickly and becomes irritating to the skin. I am ordering a replacement but will be summoning my inner MacGyver to find a suitable alternative for the future.
