What’s in the box?

Each envo®mask respirator kit comes with a mask with one choice of headgear, 5 filters and a storage case.

Which headgear does the mask come with by default?

When ordering on, please choose between the Holo and QuickFit headgear. By default, Holo headgear is what you will see in the box where you may choose.

Can I order both headgears with my mask?

If you order the mask with the Holo headgear, you would need to order the QuickFit headgear as an accessory.

Can I replace my Holo headgear with QuickFit headgear and vice versa?

Yes, the headgear is interchangeable.

Does the mask come with a plug?

Whenever we ship a mask kit, or accessory filter cover or shield, a plug is included with the order.


How long can a filter be used before it must be removed and discarded?

Please follow NIOSH N95 guidelines or consult your company’s safety officer. If the filter reaches maximum load and breathing becomes labored, immediately leave the contaminated environment and replace the filter with a new filter. If the filter material is physically damaged or soiled, the filter must be discarded and replaced.

Can the filter be cleaned or reprocessed?

A filter may never be cleaned or reprocessed.  Once the filter has been removed from the mask, immediately discard the filter.

Is the envo®mask allowed for air travel?

While many of our customers have used the envo® mask for air travel, some customers have been told they cannot.  We cannot guarantee the airlines will prohibit or allow the use of any mask or require another mask to be worn over our mask.

What if I have a shield and plug?

The use of plugs, shields, ventless filter covers and other accessories often give airline employees a higher level of comfort, but we cannot guarantee the airlines will prohibit or allow the use of any mask or require another mask to be worn over our mask.


Is this a NIOSH N95 rated mask?

Every version of the mask we sell and every accessory we sell is NIOSH Certified.  The mask filter has a NIOSH N95 certification when used with the components available on

Can the mask be washed?

The mask can be hand washed with mild soap, warm water, and a soft cloth to remove dirt and dust.

  1. Remove the filter from the mask and discard
  2. Leaving the filter cover and mask body separated, gently wash all components of the mask face and mask body and allow air to dry
  3. Once components are dry, reassemble the mask. Install new filters immediately before use

Can mask parts be repaired?

  • If any part of the mask breaks the part must be replaced.
  • There are no serviceable parts on the mask body.  If any part of this breaks or wears out the mask body must be replaced.
  • Never try to glue a broken part to extend the life of the mask body
  • Accessory parts include mask bodies, filter covers, headgear and shields. If you are looking for any piece inside of any of these accessories, the entire part must be replaced.


Does the mask contain latex?

No, the mask does not contain latex.

Where is the mask manufactured?

The envo®mask is manufactured the mask in Hampton, New Hampshire.

Does the envo®mask come in multiple sizes?

No, one adult size is designed to fit most adults. If you are taller than 5’2” and shorter than 6’6” you have an excellent chance the mask will fit very well.

Is the gel cushion safe if it leaks?

If the mask is damaged, it is no longer safe for any type of use and should be disposed of immediately. If the AIRgel® or filter is accidentally consumed by a child or a pet, please contact a physician or veterinarian immediately. AIRgel​® is made from a medical-grade silicone gel making contact other than ingestion safe.

How do I dispose of the mask and filters?

If your mask and filters have been subject to harsh environments, please dispose of them properly when finished with filters. Never use a damaged mask or a mask with parts missing.


What is the warranty for my envo®mask?

envo​®​mask offers a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects.

If I feel there is a warranty issue, what should I do?

If purchased on, please email  and include your order number, the name on the original order and a photo with a brief description of the problem.  A customer service representative will review the photo and information and get back to you.  If you purchased the mask from any retailer other than, please include the receipt along with the photo and description.

Do you accept returns?

Due to COVID-19, we do not accept returns.
